Leontine sustains an injury so serious that she is unable to walk, but she refuses the help of Ragatzy, whom she considers a fraud. Leontine returns to England, and leading British surgeons pronounce her a hopeless cripple. Ragatzy comes to England and begs Leontine (whom he has come to love) for a chance to cure her. She consents, but at first he can do nothing for her. As he is about to leave her, however, Leontine realizes that she loves Ragatzy and walks to him. Written by AFI See less
