At a business convention, she makes the acquaintance of Bert Woodmansee, reputedly worth millions, and captures him after a brief courtship. Later she is dismayed to find that he is merely the nephew of Woodmansee, the millionaire lumberman. The uncle discovers her indiscretion, and when Marie leaves her husband, he finds her.
