En route Nancy meets Mr. Magruder, who offers her $10,000 if she will prevent his daughter Elizabeth from marrying Willie Weems and bring about her marriage to Warren Holt. While engaged as a maid in his home, Nancy overhears Elizabeth's plans to elope with Willie. Jazz abducts Willie in his car and leaves him in the country, but the irrepressible Willie returns.
