Their experiences begin with their entry as guests into a fashionable country house. Arrayed in evening dress they fall downstairs, get into the wrong rooms, and one falls into a bathtub but is rescued by the other. They finally land in the reception room, where they quarrel over Mae Busch. Fields gets the best of Weber and kicks him away, whenever he tries to "butt'' in. Joe plans revenge. He notifies the police that if he disappears that he has been killed by Lew. He leaves his clothes by a pond to confirm the information. Lew is arrested and after a humorous trial is sentenced to be hung. Mae Busch smuggles a file and a sheet to Lew and he makes his escape. Joe is captured and is going to be hung in the place of Lew so that the Governor won't be disappointed. Then Lew breaks into the room and the Governor pardons both to the disappointment of the bloody executioner, Mack Swain. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
