I can access IMDbPro.com from my computer at home but not from the one I use at work. Why?
As long as you provide your correct login information (email address and password) you can access the site from any location and computer. The only access restriction we enforce, as detailed in our Subscriber Agreement is that we prohibit multiple simultaneous accesses from one account: in other words, you can't give your login information to a third party to allow him/her access to IMDbPro.com using your subscription. But you are allowed to access the site from home, work or anywhere else you like.
If you can access IMDbPro.com from one computer but not from another, it means that you are correctly logged into your account on the first computer but not the second one. If you log into your account on the second computer too, you will be able to access IMDbPro.com.
The easiest way to do this, on any computer where you don't appear to have access, is to perform the following two steps:
- Make sure you are logged out from any old/incorrect account. Click on the following link or cut and paste it into a new browser window:
https://secure.imdb.com/register/logout
- Login again using your IMDbPro.com account information. Click on the following link and enter your email address (the one you entered when you signed up) and your password:
https://secure.imdb.com/register/login
Please note that if you access IMDbPro.com from a shared computer (i.e. any computer where you are not the only user, like a terminal at your workplace) you must logout after you have finished using the site, or anyone using the same PC will be able to access IMDbPro.com using your account. IMDbPro.com users stay logged in until they click on the logout button (found in the top right corner of every page on the site).
